Mission and Philosophy

National Behavioral Care offers evidence based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatments to individuals with Autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome (DSM-IV-TR diagnosis), Intellectual Disability (and other neurodevelopmental conditions), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (both types), as well as Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders. National Behavioral Care services individuals of all age groups.

Our clinical team is committed to offering state of the art evidence based behavioral treatments that are tailored to the circumstances of each individual under our care and their family. Our treatment approach is person centered, driven by cultural sensitivity, and focuses on the employment of support systems in treatment. Additionally, National Behavioral Care  is committed to diligently assess the appropriateness of treatments for each individual in an effort to maximize efficacy of treatment, and so provide our individuals with the best possibilities for positive change and success. Our commitment to transparency of our practices, methods, and treatments, is only limited to our commitment of confidentiality to our individuals and partners; National Behavioral Care is also committed to providing educational opportunities to individuals under our care, their support systems, and the public in an effort to better the efficacy of treatments, and disseminate information.

The physical translation of our commitments (i.e. ABA interventions) toward the individuals we serve is the improvement of the individuals’: self-sufficiency, reduction of problem behaviors, functional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and coping.

These goals, and their physical translations, are aimed at increasing the client overall independence and quality of life (as well as their families), while minimizing the need for professional involvement in the client’s environment.
